National AccessAbility Week

National AccessAbility Week is dedicated to celebrating the valuable contributions and leadership of Canadians with disabilities, as well as promoting efforts to increase accessibility and inclusion .

This year’s theme, “AccessAbility is Within Reach”, highlights inclusive practices within communities and workplaces.

May 29 is Red Shirt Day of Action for AccessAbility and Inclusion. People across Canada will wear red as a visible display of solidarity to show their support for disabled people and their families, celebrate the achievements of disabled Canadians, and to pledge their commitment to help create a fully accessible and inclusive society.
